I went out to do do chores this morning and count my sheep and lambs. I was so upset missing one. Sheep travel in herds so I was worried that one of my sheep was injured or worse. Anyway as I let my mind consume me. I realize it was one of my baby lambs I raised last year and my daughter lead in project. I rounded the corner of the barn there she was I over reacted but with a new born ram lamb. I was so happy and really thrown off. She had lost her baby earlier on.

We are accepting new CSA members for our CSA program starting now. Please email or call us with any questions. There is a page with a lot of information on this link.
On a farm note we had our first litter of yellow labs they were so cute and hard to let go. But we will have more (just never in the winter that was more difficult than I expected.)
We are preparing for our lambs they are due any time now and I am hoping they will wait until March with spring weather. But we will see . Another lesson I learned lets hold off on the lambing until april next year.
We have 5 steers for sale in the summer so if you are interested in purchasing a quarter please let us know. They are all nature no hormones or antiboitics used.
On a personal note we have a new addition Cooper Jack Craver was born on 12/08/2010. So I have another farm helper. We are overjoyed to be blessed with another healthy boy.
